Final Part 2

v A) What I liked about this class is that I got to learn new things about the computer and some new websites like blogger and drop-box during this class. I have nothing to complain about this class.

v B)  Something I suggest for this class is that we work on more things to learn about the internet more

v C)    Yes I would do my best on working on the new posts for the careers and the student success statements. All thought there was sometimes were I did get a bit lazy but I still worked on them.

v D)   Yes I am reading my 100+ goals in class and at home.

v E)   Yes I am committed to being a CTR person because I want to succeed in life and choosing the right is what going to lead me to succeeding in life.

v F)   I will promise to always do good in class to keep my body-mind good and will relax to take care of my spirit.  

 

 

  

      

Showcase

For my showcase I had to work on a project which was based on "should people with EBT be allowed to use it at fast-food places." My group members were Lucy, Jose, Brandon, Jasmine, and Karla. At first we were really lazy with all of our work we would mostly talk instead of doing work in class, but then we realized we should do or work and try to finish on time. Since we worked on it a little late this made it more stressful because we were not prepared and we had a time limit that went to waist. But at the ends we did end up finishing our power point and our essay. When we practiced it the day before I was really nervous because we did it in front of everyone and it was the first time we presented with everything. On showcase night I was nervous of what might go wrong and if we were prepared enough for anything the panel might say or ask us. Once I walked in and saw the panel I just breathed in and relaxed my self. When it came to my turn I got nervous and felt like I turned red and I read my card and it was all over. Once I stepped out I thought it wasn't so bad and now I knew what to do for the next time I do this project again.

Reflection:

I agree with this quote by Abraham Lincoln because if you do something good you feel really good about yourself it puts you in a positive mode and your proud of yourself. But if you do something bad you feel disappointed it keeps coming to your mind. For example if you did good in a test you feel so proud of yourself and your in a great mood. But if you did bad in the test you keep thinking about how could you done better and your sad.

Reflection:

I think what this quote by Mr. Haymore means that if you take care of yourself and keep positive this makes a big impact on your life. It helps you achieve things in life if you stay/think positively. The thing you need to be responsible about is for your own well being because that’s what matters most and helps you work out everything else. 
Examples;
For example for physical health doing exercise. For Mental you need to keep stress free. For spiritual go to church

                                                               The sting of the scorpion

           In this video we saw that the little boy disobeyed his parents and went off with out the correct shoes and a scorpion stung him in his leg. The little boy learned his lesson by disobeying his parents and not doing what he was suppose to be doing. He choose the wrong and he got something in return for it. Its like if you do something good you will get good things but if you do the wrong things likie the little boy bad things will come your way.

Reflection:

What this quote by Mark Twain is saying is that if you always do thing right then good things will come your way because of the good things you have done. It’s a statement worth following because it tells you never to wrong things just always do what’s right.

I think what this quote by Paul Hatch is about that once you start telling a lie you get so caught into it that you get confused and don’t even know what the truth is anymore. Soon enough everything you say/do becomes part of that lie and you can’t take it back so now you are stuck with it and sooner or later people will find out and you will be labeled as a liar.

Reflection:

What Lou Holtz is trying to say that if you are a good person then good things will come to you if you answered yes to the three question that means you are a good person so sooner or later good things will come your way. For example if you are committed to doing your very best then all the hard work will payoff and you’ll get what you want.

Diagnostic Radiologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

          Diagnostic radiographers use x-rays, ultrasound and other forms of imaging technology to examine patients. They are responsible for acquiring the image and frequently they interpret the images and diagnose illnesses and injuries. They may contribute towards establishing treatment plans and can also be involved in intervention procedures, e.g. the removal of kidney stones.

Salary:
          $277,107- $497,537

Education:

          The first step in becoming a radiologist is to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Pre-medicine students may major in any subject but need to meet prerequisites in math, biology, organic and inorganic chemistry, physics and the humanities. Students can strengthen their medical school application by earning academic honors, volunteering, conducting scientific research and achieving high scores on the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). Many four-year colleges and universities have pre-med advisors who assist students in planning an appropriate program of study.

Reflection:
          No I do not think I would like to be a diagnostic radiologist because I don’t think its so interesting of a job. I also I don’t really like x-rays so I don’t think this is the job for me.

Thanks giving break

                      For thanksgiving break I did something's. On Friday I went to the movies with my friends to watch the new movie Mocking Jay part 1 on opening day. On Saturday I went to the mall for a little bit with my sister and mom. On Sunday I watched the college football game USC vs. UCLA and I was going for USC to win the game but they sadly lost to UCLA. On Thanksgiving day I went to my aunts house to have dinner with my family my cousins, aunts, and uncles came and we all ate turkey and pie and we talked to each other about funny memories we've had together. On Friday I went black Friday shopping with my mom and my sister at citidale it was really crazy and pack there was a bunch of lines in every store we went to but I managed to get some stuff like cloths, shoes, etc. Other than that I didn't do much but stay home and watch movies and work on some homework.

I agree with this quote by John F. Kennedy because its important that you are not only physically healthy but also mentally healthy as well. When you are mentally health you become wiser and this is what helps your body achieve it physical healthiness. The more you do the wiser and stronger you become.

Duties and Responsibilities:

            Dermatologists specialize in preventing, diagnosing, and treating skin diseases and conditions. Examples of common conditions that they treat include acne, dandruff, and skin cancer. Some dermatologists also perform procedures to improve the appearance of the skin, such as decreasing signs of aging or improving skin tone. These procedures include botox and collagen injections.

Salary:

            $112,000 - $166,400

Education:

            Dermatology is one of the most highly competitive medical fields, and requires several years of education and training. The first step is an undergraduate degree from a four-year college, including pre-medical courses in biology, organic chemistry, physics, and chemistry. Some candidates must also complete math and biochemistry coursework, depending on the medical school they plan to attend.

Reflection:

            I don’t think I would like to be a dermatologist because it doesn’t seem interesting and I think it would be weird for me to work as.
