I agree with this quote I think it is a very nice statement made by Joseph B. Wirthlin. It is always good to be kind to one another because it make people feel good and it can make you feel good about yourself for doing a simple act of kindness.    

 

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving day

It is a national holiday celebrated especially in the U.S and in Canada as giving thanks to the blessing of the harvest and proceeding year. it was claimed in 1863, during the civil war by president Lincoln, to thanks and praise for our god. we thank him for those protect us, such as the military victory. We celebrate with a table of delicious food. for example Turkey, mash potato, and desert. this food was first served to the Europeans when they arrived.

Reflection:

I think what this quote by Marcus Aurelius is trying to say that if something isn’t right or will affect you should think about it and no do it. For example if someone tells you to do drugs and it’s not right then don’t do it because you know it isn’t right. Another example is that if there is a rumor about something you know it isn’t true then don’t say it because you know it isn’t true.

 

 

Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:

        Dental assistant. Dental assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, and often work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients. They make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair, prepare them for treatment, and obtain their dental records.

Salary:

        $23,550 to $47,580

Education:

        Dental assistants receive their formal education through academic programs at community colleges, vocational schools, technical institutes, universities or dental schools. Graduates of these programs usually receive certificates. Although the majority of academic dental assisting programs take nine to eleven months to complete, some schools offer accelerated training.

Reflection:

        I don’t think I would like to be a Dental Assistant. I wouldn’t like to be one because I personally do not like the dentist so this would be a bad job for me and it doesn’t interest me.

Dental lab technician

Duties and responsibilities:

Replaces partial or total loss of natural teeth by constructing partial or full dentures (metal and non-metal). Restores natural teeth by fabricating crowns and bridges. Corrects dental irregularities by manufacturing fixed or removable appliances. Replaces missing facial and body tissues due to injury, disease, or developmental abnormality by fabricating maxillo-facial prostheses.

Salary: $37,770

Education:

A Dental Lab Technician requires a high school diploma or GED certificate. Also studies on math, science, and technology.

Reflection:

          I do not think I would like to be  a Dental Lab Technician because personally I don’t really like dentist’s  I think it’s a weird job so I would not like to be one.

Reflection:

I agree with this quote because you never know what’s going to happen in the future if you do something good now and then maybe one day good things will happen to you all because you did some good in your life. But if you do something wrong it will haunt you and definitely come back to you just like karma. If you continue to do right today then sooner or later even better things will come your way because you did this one act of good. Like the saying “What comes around, comes back around.” You never know what your future hold you can just make the best of it.   

Veterans Day

            Veterans Day is November 11^th and it is a holiday, were we honor the veterans who served for our country and thank them for all their hard work they have done for us. We honor the arm, the navy, the marines, etc. And all the effort they have devoted into protecting our country. This is a very important and special day for our nation and I am very proud of the veterans who served my country. I thank them for their service. Thank them for them risking their lives at war for our nation. The brave soldiers who left their families and friends not knowing if they will ever come back but they did it anyways and never giving up when things got difficult THANK YOU!    

                   

 

Reflection:

I think Veterans Day is a great day it honors all the men and women in the army, marines, navy, and the air force for working hard to serve the United States of America. They never gave up they always stayed strong even at times when they got hurt or when another solider was taken down they kept going with their duty to fight and this is why I want to thank them so much. They left all they had family, friends, the comfort of their own homes and made a difference they stood up and fought.

I think what Chick Moorman is trying to say that if you do the right thing its better than winning untruthfully. You get more respect if you do the right thing rather than cheating your way through things.

Reflection:

I agree with W. Clement Stone I think that the three magic keys are very important thing to live by in life. To have integrity is one of the most important qualities to have it makes you an outstanding person and everyone will respect you. If you follow the three magic keys then you will live life happy.

          Some synonyms for integrity are honesty, probity, rectitude, honor, good character, principles.

Reflection:

I think what this quote is trying to say that its better to stay focus in school because once you finish school you will graduate and move on to a great job that pays well and all your hard work will pay off. But if you party all the time you wont graduate and it will be harder to catch up with everyone else and get a good job, and you will get a terrible job that pays bad. If you follow the wrong path it will lead you to bad things but if you follow the right path then good things will come your way. CTR

Dance/Movement Therapist

 

Duties and responsibilities: Dance therapists work with adults and children who are suffering from depression or anxiety, physical/psychiatric/neurological disorders, learning difficulties, dementia, autism, behavioral problems or congenital emotional problems.

salary:50,000 a year 

 

education: Association for Dance Movement Therapy. Training places attract strong competition, so relevant experience prior to postgraduate study is normally essential: most course providers require candidates to possess modern or classical dance training and experience. an honores degree in dance, movement, performing arts, psychology, nursing or medicine can be advantageous.

                                                                 Reflection:

Maybe I would like to be a Dance/Movement Therapist because it think dance is fun and entertaining, but I don’t know really know how to dance well so I think it would be a little difficult for me to do. I think it would be a nice job to work as.
