v His mother raised ben and his brother, Curtis

v Ben was the worst student in his grade school class

v Ben becomes top student in his school

Reflection:

          I completely agree with Dr. Ben Carson because if you do try hard and never give up you can make your life better. You can get out of the bad neighbor hoods and poverty and move up to a nice place and with a better education. But only if you try hard enough because if you give in to the culture around you, soon you will become the same.
