Student Success Statement
“I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than
anything else, and I can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard I want
to work, and I decided that I would change it.” –Dr. Ben Carson
Reflection:
I completely agree with Dr. Ben Carson because if you do
try hard and never give up you can make your life better. You can get out of
the bad neighbor hoods and poverty and move up to a nice place and with a
better education. But only if you try hard enough because if you give in to the
culture around you, soon you will become the same.
