Student success statement

“I wasn’t trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right.”

Dean Smith

Reflection:

I think what Dean Smith is trying to say that he doesn’t care about him winning the game or losing just that he did what felt right. If that effected his legacy then it was worth it because he did the right thing instead of doing what most coaches would do.

Fashion Designer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fashion designers work on the design of items of clothing and fashion ranges. Some may focus completely on one specialist area, such as sportswear, childrenswear, footwear or accessories. They produce designs for the haute couture, designer ready-to-wear and high street fashion markets. Developments in technology mean that a design can be on sale as a finished product in the high street within six weeks.

Salary:

          $34,487 - $98,036
Education:

Fashion designers are generally required to hold undergraduate degrees in fashion design. Those who intend on owning their own design firms or shops may benefit from earning a combined degree in fashion design and marketing or another business-related subject. Aspiring fashion designers seeking degree programs may consult with the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, the nationally recognized accrediting organization for design schools.

Reflection:

Yes I would like to be a fashion designer because I love watching fashion runways and seeing the models in the new season cloths. For example like Cara Delevigne in the Chanel fashion show. Also I love the new and exciting designs that they make. I’ve always been drawn to fashion so this would be the perfect job for me.
